Terms & Conditions

General

West Engrave provides custom engraving services and products for personal, commercial, and industrial clients across Western Australia. By placing an order with West Engrave, the customer agrees to the following Terms & Conditions.

Quotes & Pricing

All quotes are valid for 14 days unless otherwise stated. Pricing may vary based on material availability, design complexity, and order volume. Any changes requested after quoting may result in a revised price.

Artwork, Proofs & Approval

Customers are responsible for supplying accurate information, spelling, and design details. A digital proof may be provided for approval before production. Approval of the proof confirms that all details are correct. West Engrave is not liable for errors approved by the customer.

Custom Orders

Custom and personalised items are made specifically for the customer and cannot be returned, refunded, or exchanged unless faulty. Variations in material texture, grain, and finish are normal and not considered defects.

Colours & Materials

Colours may appear differently in person due to variations in lighting, materials, and screen displays. Natural materials such as wood, leather, and stone may have unique characteristics that affect the final appearance.

Production Timeframes

Estimated turnaround times are provided at the time of ordering. Delays may occur due to supplier issues, material shortages, or high‑volume periods. Urgent orders may incur a priority fee.

Payment Terms

Payment is required before production unless otherwise agreed in writing. For business clients, payment terms may be arranged on a case‑by‑case basis. West Engrave reserves the right to withhold delivery until payment is received.

Shipping, Delivery & Collection

Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery details. West Engrave is not liable for delays caused by third‑party couriers. Risk transfers to the customer upon collection or dispatch.

Returns, Refunds & Faults

Faulty items will be repaired or replaced in accordance with Australian Consumer Law. Claims must be made within 7 days of receiving the product, with photographic evidence where applicable. Change‑of‑mind returns are not accepted for custom items.

Liability

West Engrave is not responsible for damage caused by misuse, incorrect installation, or improper handling of products. Customers supplying their own materials do so at their own risk.

Intellectual Property

Designs created by West Engrave remain the property of West Engrave unless otherwise agreed. Customer‑supplied artwork must not infringe on any copyright or trademark.

Privacy

Customer information is used solely for order processing and communication. West Engrave does not share personal information with third parties except where required for delivery or legal compliance.

Amendments

West Engrave may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. The version in effect at the time of ordering will apply.

Return & Refund Policy

As all West Engrave products are custom‑made, returns and refunds are not available for change of mind. Faulty or damaged items will be repaired, replaced, or refunded in line with Australian Consumer Law. Issues must be reported within 7 days with photos. Natural material variations and outcomes on customer‑supplied items are not considered faults.
